Please join the American Nurses Association (ANA) for a critical discussion on the Needlestick Safety and Prevention Act, 10 years after it was enacted. Speakers include ANA President Karen Daley, PhD, MPH, RN, FAAN, who was instrumental in the Act’s passage. Panelists will discuss current trends in sharps injuries and what needs to be done to protect nurses and other health care professionals from this workplace hazard.
