Jim Hales

Jim Hales is an Australian health economist and consultant to the health and community services sector. Over the past 20 years he has provided consulting services in Australia and New Zealand, with a particular focus on the alcohol and drug sector and chronic disease transmission. He was the principal author of the report on the Return on Investment in Needle and Syringe Programs in Australia (2002), and continues his interest in this field through his ongoing consultancy activities.
